PostSecret, An Internet Gem
PostSecret is an ongoing community art project where people mail-in their secrets anonymously on one side of a homemade postcard. This is one of my most favorite sites on the net. I visit it often and I'm always amazed and touched by the powerful work submitted. It's such a wonderful concept.
The first solo PostSecret exhibit was mounted in January; 15,000 people attended the show, 1,100 books were sold and The Washington Post called it, "one of the five best art exhibitions in Washington in 2005".
